Indore Woman Conversion to Islam

A woman residing in a live-in relationship with an individual from the Muslim community in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, has filed a complaint against her partner, alleging that he pressured her to convert to Islam in order to marry him.

According to the woman's complaint, her live-in partner named Faizan resorted to physical violence when she refused to embrace Islam. Dinesh Verma, the in-charge of Khajrana Police Station in Indore, confirmed that the woman and Faizan had been in a live-in relationship for approximately 7-8 months.

The incident took place after the couple watched the film "The Kerala Story" together, leading to an altercation between them. Subsequently, the woman approached the police and filed a First Information Report (FIR) against her partner.

Directed by Sucipto Sen and produced by Vipul Amrutial Shah, "The Kerala Story" features actors Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Siddhi Inani, and Sonia Balani in prominent roles. The film has garnered significant controversy, with certain political parties labeling it as propaganda.
