Mahguri: In a successful operation based on actionable intelligence, the police apprehended two drug peddlers identified as Habibur Rahman and Jalal Uddin in the Mahguri area of Juria. During the operation, the police discovered a box of soap containing drugs, five mobile phones, and Rs. 12,000 in cash, which were seized as evidence.
Investigations have revealed that Jalal Uddin had been operating a drug racket in the area, seemingly under the nose of the police. This arrest sheds light on the authorities' efforts to crack down on drug-related activities and maintain law and order in the region.
Additionally, in a separate incident last month in Guwahati, the police successfully apprehended two notorious motorcycle thieves. The suspects, identified as Kahid Ali, alias Ekra, and Rupchand Ali, had a history of involvement in various criminal cases. The police not only detained them but also managed to recover stolen motorcycles that were found in their possession.
These arrests reflect the vigilance and dedication of the police in combating crime and ensuring the safety of the community. By taking swift action against drug peddlers and thieves, law enforcement authorities aim to create a secure environment for residents and send a strong message that criminal activities will not be tolerated.
