SI Junmoni Rabha Death Controversy

In a shocking turn of events, a new audio clip has emerged on social media and electronic platforms, shedding light on the mysterious 'death' of SI Junmoni Rabha. In the audio track, unidentified police personnel from Nagaon PS revealed startling information, claiming that her demise was not a mere accident but a pre-planned murder. According to the source, SI Junmoni Rabha, accompanied by SI Abhajyoti Rabha, the in-charge officer of Haibargaon Outpost, was allegedly killed at a secret location in town just before the reported accident.

Moreover, the audio clip unveiled additional details shared by the police personnel. It was revealed that SI Junmoni Rabha had undergone extensive questioning in the evening of the fateful day by the Superintendent of Police (SP), Additional Superintendent of Police (HQ), and Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sadar PS. Shortly afterward, the OC of Nagaon PS headed towards the Borghat bypass Chariali, instructing all officers from the police stations and outposts in the district to close down the entry gates just prior to the incident.

The anonymous police source further claimed in the audio clip that SI Junmoni Rabha was subjected to brutal torture with an iron rod until her demise, inflicted by unidentified individuals at a clandestine location within the town. The source also mentioned a late-night raid led by SP Leena Doley and ASP (HQ), during which several lakhs of rupees were allegedly discovered in SI Junmoni Rabha's official quarters. Additionally, the doctor on duty at Jakhalabandha Hospital, who conducted the initial examination after the accident, informed local media that there were no visible signs of external injuries on SI Junmoni Rabha's body, except for bleeding from one of her ears.

Meanwhile, a team from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), headed by SP Dhruba Bora, has been stationed at the Nagaon police guest house since Wednesday. They interrogated SI Abhajyoti Rabha, Inspector Monuj Rajbangshi (OC, Nagaon PS), and five other police personnel from Morikolong Outpost extensively, seeking crucial information related to the case. In light of these developments, SP Leena Doley took action by transferring over 148 police constables deployed across various police stations, outposts, and patrolling units within the district.

Simultaneously, the district unit of Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, through the DC, Nagaon, urging a judicial inquiry into the perplexing 'death' of SI Junmoni Rabha. They also called for comprehensive measures to combat all forms of crime and establish Nagaon as a crime-free district in the future.

The emergence of the audio clip has added new dimensions to the investigation, fueling speculations and demands for a thorough examination of the circumstances surrounding SI Junmoni Rabha's tragic demise.
