Mumbai: The Indian Navy will launch its seventh stealth frigate, Mahendragiri, on Friday at Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited in Mumbai. The warship is being built under Project 17A, which is a follow-on to the Project 17 (Shivalik class) frigates.
The launch ceremony will be attended by Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and his wife, Dr. Sudesh Dhankhar. The Vice President will be the chief guest at the ceremony.
