Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Distribute 71,000 Appointment Letters in Rozgar Mela

In a significant development, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute approximately 71,000 appointment letters to newly recruited individuals today through a video conferencing event. This announcement was made in a press release issued by the Prime Minister's Office.


The Rozgar Mela, a job fair, will be organized at 45 locations nationwide, facilitating the distribution of appointment letters.


These recruitments are being conducted in collaboration with Central Government Departments, as well as State Governments and Union Territories that support this initiative, as stated in the press release.


The selected candidates, hailing from different parts of the country, will assume various positions and roles, including Gramin Dak Sevaks, Inspector of Posts, Commercial-cum-Ticket Clerk, Junior clerk-cum-Typist, Junior Accounts Clerk, Track Maintainer, Assistant Section Officer, Lower Division Clerk, Sub Divisional Officer, Tax Assistants, Assistant Enforcement Officer, Inspectors, Nursing Officers, Assistant Security Officers, Fireman, Assistant Accounts Officer, Assistant Audit Officer, Divisional Accountant, Auditor, Constable, Head Constable, Assistant Commandant, Principal, Trained Graduate Teacher, Assistant Registrar, Assistant Professor, among others.


The Rozgar Mela is a significant step toward fulfilling the Prime Minister's commitment to prioritize employment generation. It is expected to serve as a catalyst for further employment opportunities and empower the youth to actively participate in national development, according to the press release.


In addition, the newly appointed individuals will have the chance to enhance their skills through Karmayogi Prarambh, an online orientation course designed for all new employees across various Government departments.


Last year in October, PM Modi initiated the first phase of the 'Rozgar Mela,' marking the commencement of a campaign aimed at providing 10 lakh government jobs.
